Zweihander vs claymore
The claymore has a more versatile moveset, and the reach is a little bit greater. That said, just get both and test 'em out against regular enemies- whichever weapon YOU can wield more skillfully is the better weapon.I can't find any information on the spear talisman and there's nothing on the wiki. It says it enhances the counter attacks that are unique to thrusting weapons. I'm wondering what dictates a counter-attack, and if this would be good to use with my claymore and zweihander. I thought this would be a good place to start compiling any information.

Zweihander is great because it offers better than average damage for its weight; at 60/11 on a heavy infusion you could get over 550 AR one-handed for just 10 points of weight.
